Overview

Gauri is a Dietitian servicing Sydney's North Shore and specialising in diabetes and digestive health. Gauri is proficient in Hindi and is acquainted with the broader Indian cuisine. She grew up in the country side on fresh vegetarian food and loved growing vegetables from a young age. Gauri has a special interest in Vegan and Vegetarian diets but believes that healthy eating is possible in every culture and cuisine. She is passionate about cooking from fresh ingredients and trialling various cuisines. She is a mother of two and understands the challenges of cooking for a family of varying nutritional needs, ages and dietary restrictions.

Gauri has been working as a dietitian for 10 years and in private practice 6 years. She enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team who are committed to holistic and preventative health. Gauri’s favourite thing about being a private dietitian is getting to know and help her patients from diverse backgrounds to love food and enjoy good health. Gauri has had experience in a major public hospitals and various nursing homes. Gauri uses health coaching along with her clinical expertise to assist weight loss, weight gain, healthy eating, Diabetes, Blood pressure and Cholesterol management, Vegetarian and Vegan diets, Emotional eating, Digestive health, Liver health, Food allergies and intolerances and Women’s health.
