
Krusha Desai
Overview
Krusha is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and member of the Dietitian Association of Australia (DAA). Krusha has received her Master of Dietetics and Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from Curtin University. She is currently working in various GP clinics in Perth and have a strong interest in community health and chronic disease.
Through the use of latest evidence-based information and practice guidelines, Krusha is invested in helping her patients navigate their health conditions and create positive relationship with food by enabling her patients to make appropriate food and lifestyle changes that align with their food preferences, lifestyle needs, cultural backgrounds, and health goals.
Krusha grew up in Singapore hence, she is well versed in different cultural foods such as Indian, Malaysian and Chinese cuisine as well as western diets and currently work with patients from various cultural background in her current work. Krusha has a strong belief in incorporating her patient's cultural foods to her intervention to allow long term sustainable food choices for these individuals. Krusha can speak English, Hindi and Gujarati.
