Planted Nutrition

Registered Clinical Nutritionist

I’m Luke - a Registered Clinical Nutritionist (CNA) and Wellness Educator based in Aotearoa, New Zealand. I help people cut through the confusion of health advice and feel confident in how they nourish their bodies and minds. My background brings together evidence-based nutritional science, psychology, metabolic health, and mindfulness practices. I graduated with first-class honours from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and later completed specialist Clinical Nutrition training (HPN 2) under the mentorship of Dr. Cliff Harvey at the Holistic Performance Institute, building on earlier studies in psychology at Victoria University. I’ve continued postgraduate learning at institutions including Aberdeen and Deakin University, with a strong focus on clinical nutrition for health conditions, nutritional psychiatry, and metabolic wellness. My work is shaped not just by education, but by lived experience, travel, and curiosity. Yoga teacher training in India deepened my understanding of movement, breath, and cultural perspectives on health, and strengthened my ability to support clients with the mental and emotional aspects of change - not just what’s on their plate. Before establishing my own practice, I gained experience through an internship with health researcher and best-selling author Jason Shon Bennett. Today, I continue to share research and practical tools through writing for the Aotearoa Vegan & Plant-Based Living Magazine, recording my podcast and YouTube content, and running workshops and education programs. Outside of work, you’ll likely find me in nature - surfing, cycling, lifting weights, or tending to my vegetable garden. I believe well-being exists at the intersection of nourishment, movement, and mindfulness. My mission is simple: to bridge the gap between clinical science and real-life application - empowering you to build sustainable habits, develop a healthier relationship with food, and feel more vibrant, grounded, and capable every day. <a style="text-decoration:underline;" href="https://plantednutrition.nz/">My Website</a> I am available each day for online sessions and have in-person sessions available on Wednesdays at my clinic in Titirangi. By booking you agree to the <a style="text-decoration:underline;" href="https://plantednutrition.nz/terms-and-conditions/" target="_blank">Planted Nutrition Terms and Conditions (opens in new tab)</a>

Rebecca Talia - Bec The Naturopath

Certified GAPS Practitioner
Herbalist
+1

I’m a Naturopath and GAPS Practitioner with over 22 years of experience, specialising in gut health and its impact on the rest of the body — particularly skin health, food intolerances, and immune function. My interest in digestive health grew out of my own experience. I lived with long-term fatigue and health issues that worsened after the birth of my son. I was eventually diagnosed with autoimmune low thyroid function, linked to increased intestinal permeability (commonly referred to as "leaky gut"). I now support my digestion as part of managing my health — a challenge that’s given me firsthand insight into how difficult dietary changes can be in real life. Because of this, I go beyond identifying the underlying cause in my clinical work. I provide practical support — including recipes and strategies for gut health while managing food sensitivities. I aim to make dietary changes feel realistic and sustainable. I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine), an Advanced Diploma of Health Science (Naturopathy), a Diploma of Health in Nutrition, a Diploma of Health in Herbal Medicine and I am a certified GAPS practitioner. Alongside clinic work, I’ve worked in the health food industry and have provided education to pharmacy assistants, fellow practitioners, and the general public across Australia.

Vital Energy Nutritional Medicine

Nutritionist
Functional Medicine Practitioner
+1

Nutritional Medicine is founded on the principle that nutrients, including essential micronutrients, are vital for the functioning of all the biochemical processes within our bodies. I like to focus on food as medicine first, alongside lifestyle choices and supplements only if required. When we are focussing on treating symptoms or diseases, we constantly search for any underlying causes, which can be genetic but are often related to nutritional, environmental and lifestyle factors. I like to focus on the mind, body and soul for optimal health. By focusing on each clients mind, body and soul, only then can we truely improve our health and wellbeing. I work with many health issues: Endometriosis - Founder of 'The Freedom From Endo Pain Process' - a 12 Week Program PCOS Menopause Heart health High cholesterol High blood pressure Diabetes Autoimmune diseases Digestive health Weight management Liver health Systemic inflammation Functional Blood Analysis NDIS support for plan or self managed funds Smart DNA testing and GUT microbiome testing.

Motueka, New Zealand

Naturaliste Health Clinic

Naturopath

Hi — I’m Tara, a naturopath based in Yallingup, Western Australia, with a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). I’ve always been passionate about health, wellness and the healing power of plants, and over the years I’ve lived and travelled in many places around the world. When I moved to Australia, it felt like I had come home — and here I found a way to combine my love of nature, curiosity about human biology, and desire to support others’ wellbeing. I specialise in integrative, whole-person care — blending nutrition, herbal medicine and, when helpful, functional testing (genetic, microbiome or hormone) — to support mental-health, hormonal, gut and overall wellness. A big focus of my work is with people in a 28-day rehabilitation program: clients navigating addiction recovery, trauma or complex mental-health challenges. I also welcome those seeking support for hormonal imbalance, gut health, lifestyle-related concerns, or simply a path toward better long-term wellbeing. For me, naturopathy is about more than treating symptoms — it’s about supporting the whole person: body, mind, environment and life context. I strive to create a compassionate, respectful and collaborative space where you feel heard and empowered. I aim to help you understand your body’s needs, gently restore balance, and guide you toward sustainable health over time. When I’m not working with clients, I’m raising my children, caring for our rural property (animals, garden, meal planning, household routines), and weaving nourishment and rhythm into everyday life. I believe the way we live — the food we eat, the spaces we inhabit, the routines we keep — is deeply tied to health. If you’re looking for a practitioner who values connection, gentleness, and holistic wellness — someone who sees you beyond the symptoms — I’d be honored to walk beside you on your healing journey.
